Careers Event Open Day – 9th February 2023
It was a pleasure and a privilege to be part of this event and celebrate National Apprenticeship Week with many other UHCW departments. Throughout the day, dozens of students visited the Pathology stall, which manifested their interest in the Pathology healthcare sciences. This event offered an excellent opportunity to raise awareness about the different roles in Pathology and to highlight how crucial our work is for patient treatment and management. Many individuals expressed their surprise when they realised the type and amount of work in our department. The engagement with the public was fantastic, and in the end, I felt very proud for promoting my role and clarifying many related questions.
